Podcast recording & production
We use a variety of high quality internet connections to each host and guest, to allow each person’s microphone to come up on a different channel on our mixers, to ensure the best quality audio for mixing and ease of editing. Our editing systems allow for live, real-time editing of audio, meaning our engineers can chop out mistakes and sneezes etc., on the fly. This allows for a shows flow to continue, eliminating the need to constantly start and stop - and more importantly reduces the time (and cost) needed for editing. Instant playback of these edits and recordings can be heard by all. While the host and guests are on dedicated and individual lines to our mixers, the shows producer, client and agents can be sat in a virtual ‘green room’ by means of a Zoom meeting. This allows for everyone to listen in and speak to those being recorded, without affecting the recording itself, just like you were using a mixing desks talk-back function in a traditional set-up. Each studio also have 2 telephone lines that patch through the mixers, this can be used as a backup for a guests internet not being fast enough or any tech issues they may have (or if a client wants to listen in via a telephone).
